Darlington Entrance Canopy

Balfor Beatty Construction Ltd - Darlington Hospital, Darlington, County Durham.
The Darlington entrance canopy, installed here as the ambulance drop off point to a new hospital. The canopy features a mix of opal and clear polycarbonate panelling.

Designed in this instance by working closely with the clients Architect. The design criteria included a very short installation window, internal gutters and downpipes connected below ground level, no ligature points, no overhangs capable of damaging high sided vehicles, prepainted framework.
