Specification
Mild steel framework, either galvanised or shot blasted, primed and
two top coats to any standard RAL or BS colour.
Circular tubular columns chemically anchored to a suitably prepared
concrete base or cast in-situ to suitable bases.
UV protected structured polycarbonate glazing fixed with two part glazing
bar. Glazing bars are mill finish as standard but can be to any standard
RAL or BS colour at additional charge.
Rainwater gutters are optional to both eaves with downpipes supplied
to discharge at ground level if required.
Aylsham High School, Norwich, Norfolk.
As new buildings have been added to this school the students had to walk considerable distances in all weathers for lesson change. This kingston walkway which is 3 - 3.8m wide x 80m long in total has cured this problem helping students and staff to arrive dry at the next lesson.
Claytons Primary School, Bourne End, Buckinghamshire.
This canopy covers the path linking the new classrooms with the existing school and therefore meeting the requirements for DDA. This project was in conjunction with the clients architects and the main contractors ROK.
Comberton Village College, Comberton, Cambridgeshire
Another school with the problem of long outdoor distances on lesson change. This Kingston walkway in conjunction with other larger canopies has solved the problem. As the photograph shows changes in direction are easily overcome.

These new residential apartments have basement parking, the requirement was for protection between doors and stairwells. Toughened glass panel sidewalls were also supplied giving increased weather protection. The walkway satisfied the demands for the NHBC.
